
CDM-c Role for Park Lane refurbishment
Duncan Tibbitts has been appointed as CDM Co-ordinator for the major overhaul and refurbishment of 6 passenger lifts to a prominent landmark residential block on Park Lane, Mayfair with individual flats worth in excess of £19 million. Starting on site in January 2015 the work has a 58 week contract period.
Putney Party Wall Problems
Having worked as retained maintenance surveyors for a 1960s purpose built block in Putney since 2009, the Directors have called upon Gradient’s expertise following work to an adjacent property undertaken without Statutory Notices. We represented the RMC regarding Notices under the Party Wall Act and 2 instances of trespass.
Asbestos Consultancy for Hyde Housing Group
Clare has been appointed to work in an interim support role within the compliance team at Hyde Housing Group heading up their Asbestos Management. Working closely with exisiting suppliers, the responsive repairs team and resident liaison, the role includes reviewing and updating processes and procedures for Asbestos Management across their portfolio of 45,000 homes.
Planning strategy for Maida Vale developer
Working on behalf of the developer we have recently submitted 2 planning applications as part of a planning strategy for the prospective purchase of a mixed use property in Maida Vale. Our brief included the architectural design of mansard and rear extensions as well as the reconfiguration of maisonettes.
